ArmsXchange was not created in a corporate boardroom. It was founded on the 10-meter firing line by national-level shooter Pranatpal Singh (who recently began his coaching journey over the past year), inspired by the persistent equipment discovery and safety hurdles faced by competitive shooters across India.
The Equipment Barrier in Indian Shooting Sports
Starting out in competitive shooting sports is demanding. Precision match air rifles like Feinwerkbau, Walther, and Steyr are sophisticated mechanical and electronic instruments manufactured in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. For junior shooters and their families, committing several lakhs of rupees upfront is a massive undertaking.
Yet, senior shooters upgrading to modern chassis had no transparent, trustworthy marketplace to consign their maintained rifles to emerging junior marksmen. The existing pre-owned market was fragmented, opaque, and hazardous: undisclosed expired cylinders (past the 10-year ISSF rule), worn regulator seals, and arbitrary pricing.
ArmsXchange was created to establish a new benchmark: item-specific condition reports, verified cylinder dates, authentic macro photography, and direct coach-to-athlete consultation.

Absolute Disclosure
We never use generic stock imagery for pre-owned weapons. If an air cylinder is 2018 or 2024, or if there is light cosmetic wear on the cheekpiece, it is clearly stated in writing and documented in high-resolution photography.
Statutory Compliance
We deal exclusively in 0.177 calibre (4.5mm) target air weapons generating under 20 Joules under Category III(f) of the Indian Arms Rules 2016. Complete tax transparency is maintained with 18% GST guidance on new weapon imports for non-renowned athletes.
